Hours: After school program hours: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Our Moundville BGC van will pick children up from Hale County Middle School when school dismisses.)

Moundville Boys & Girls Club offers youth a place to become. We nurture mentoring relationships between adults and youth to provide support, leadership programs, and emotional growth for our youth.

After-School Program Membership Fee: $50 per semester
Activities: There are a variety of games and activities available for members such as: billiards, foosball, ping-pong, corn hole, basketball, four square, badminton, flag football, board games, art classes, crafts, team-building activities, community service, and much more.

Programs: Homework assistance with access to computers, free printing for Club members, and free Wi-Fi, book club, Delta Tree Initiative (a STEM program for female Club members) from the University of Alabama, leadership programs such as Passport to Manhood for males, and Smart Girls for females, and other leadership development programs such as Junior Staff and Youth of the Month/Year. Nutrition and healthy living lessons are offered through the Club’s Healthy Habits program which includes healthy snacks, cooking classes, nutritional and fitness lessons, and activities about making good choices in life.

Field Trips: Movie nights, Upsurge, Sporting Events at Hale County Middle and High Schools and the University of Alabama, and more.
Volunteering: The Moundville Boys & Girls Club welcomes volunteers. All volunteers must go through a background check. Background check release forms can be picked up at the Club.

Summer Camp: Our summer camp program runs weekdays June – July from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Extended day is available until 5:30 p.m. for an additional fee. Fees for summer camp will be determined at registration time.

Financial Support: The Boys & Girls Club offers its services to our youth due to financial support from the City of Moundville, grants, and donations from local businesses and private donors. All donations are tax-deductible. If any individuals would like to donate or businesses would like to participate in payroll deduction or make a corporate donation, please call Director Latondia Wallace at 205-371-2644 or 205-344-1336. The club has several fundraisers each year to assist with financial needs. Please contact us if you need financial assistance with fees for your child.
