The Moundville Boys & Girls Club is a youth program that provides after-school programs and activities as well as a summer camp for our local youth. Our program is open to kids sixth grade – tenth grade. Hours of Operation: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday (Boys & Girls Club is closed on days when Hale County schools are closed)

Hours: After school program hours: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Hale County Middle School provides bus transportation from the school); Summer camp hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Membership Fee: $25 for the School Year; $25 per week for the summer camp, plus cost of field trips and activities.
Activities: There are a variety of activities available for members such as: pool, Foosball, ping-pong, corn hole, basketball, board games, craft projects, team-building activities, community outreach, and much more.
Programs: Homework assistance, computer lab, community garden, book club, 4-H, Delta Tree Initiative, and other leadership development programs
Field Trips: Engineering Camp, Talladega Raceway, and more
Summer Camp: Registration for summer camp starts March 1, 2017. Registration forms can be picked up at Hale County Middle School or at Moundville Boys & Girls Club. Club participants will enjoy field trips to DeSoto Caverns and to Mobile to the USS Alabama Battleship Park, swimming at Bowers Park and Fayette Water Park, ice cream outings, visiting the University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium and Bryant Museum, a fishing trip, a tour of Golden Flake potato chip factory, a trip to the Wildlife Federation and Durbin Farms in Clanton, trips to Airwalk, and much more! Kids don’t have to sit at home and be bored this summer!

Volunteering: The Moundville Boys & Girls Club welcomes volunteers. All volunteers must go through a background check. Background check release forms can be picked up at the club.
Financial Support: The Boys & Girls Club is able to offer its services to our youth due to financial support from the City of Moundville, grants, and donations from local businesses and private donors. All donations are tax-deductible. If any individuals would like to make a donation or businesses would like to participate in payroll deduction or make a corporate donation, please call Tiffany Vaughn at 205-371-6318 or 205-344-1336. The club has several fundraisers each year to assist with financial needs.
