A word from Assistant Chief Dewayne Toxey

I was hired on June 5, 2017 to join the Moundville Police Department. I spent 29 1/2 years with the Tuscaloosa Police Department working in patrol, motorcycle patrol, training division, and attained rank of Lieutenant (Assistant Shift Commander) prior to retiring. While working at TPD I received numerous instruction level certifications and I have experience in budgeting, planning, organizing, instructing, and implementing training. I am looking forward to working with the community, council, and surrounding law enforcement agencies.
We welcome Assistant Chief Toxey to the Moundville Police Department!
